It was the dawn of the new year. freesi had been in the lab wit the intern for a few days already, putting the finishing touches on his debut EP „M O R E S O U P“ (now out via Block Opera & streaming everywhere, wink wink).

Ready to start something from scratch, they laid down some chords & drums and got the groove going real fast. Once 7apes joined the session, it was game over for Kelis & 3 Stacks. Silky-soft Rhodes carry you through the song, bouncy drums take care of your head nod, and a barrel-chested live bass rounds up the low end.

Papa, we’re no millionaires, but we sure are moving in the right direction.
